2010 E17 Calendar!

Beautiful Interiors is happy to announce that the E17 2010 Calendar is now in stock!
A new artwork for your wall each month and an ideal stocking filler – The Walthamstow
Calendar is an initiative coordinated by Penny Fielding and features 12 new images
from all over Walthamstow.
Each month carries an image donated by a local artist or resident; they are a diverse
range of photographs, drawings and digital prints.

“By buying this calendar you are supporting your local arts community in a multitude of ways” Penny Fielding.

The whole community was invited to enter images into an exhibition held at Beautiful
Interiors as part of the 2009 E17 Art Trail before the final 12 were selected for use in the calendar.

The calendars are on on sale now in Beautiful Interiors in the Walthamstow Village and Images in Frames on Wood Street.

We are inviting inspired residents and local artists to submit images and artworks for the 2011 calendar,

The Calendar retails at £8.50 and proceeds go to the E17 Art Trail!

Moxie Beauty launch!

Beautiful Interiors is proud to announce that from the 24th of October we'll be stocking Moxie Beauty products. Perfumes, home scents and soap all hand made and blended using the finest ingredients.
We'd like to invite you to a very special launch party. This Saturday Moxie will be in the shop so pop in and meet the talented alchemist,sample the perfumes and have a glass of warm autumn punch!
Also because we like to treat our lovely shoppers we'll be offering a 10% discount on the night on all in shop Moxie Products purchases.
It's the perfect chance to come and see what all the fuss is about. Moxie was our number one seller in the summer craft markets and we absolutely love her stuff...we think that gal has an fine nose!

Recycled gifts!

We love recycling and these little beauties have just come in from Two's Company! A selection of great recycled gifts to suit all tastes and budgets from note books to mirrors. We think they'll be a huge hit with our lovely shoppers.
So for a green Christmas these are the perfect present for your eco warrior or even for yourself...there's nothing wrong in getting yourself a little something and the best thing is because they are RECYCLED you're conscious will be a little bit lighter.
OK... You've bought something for yourself which can be seen as a tiny bit naughty but you've also been kind to the world which we think deserves a pat on the back. It's what I call guilt free shopping!

Going to the dogs...

GOING TO THE DOGS is the exhibition by talented local photographer Katherine Green. Much to the dismay and heartache of local people this listed art deco building was closed earlier this year...Gone to the Dogs! Literally.
Loved and respected by many this venue for dog racing,socializing and a good old punt was one of the last of its kind in London!
To coincide with the Exhibition at the Vestry House Museum Katherine will also be showing some of her work in Beautiful Interiors. We've also invited to show along side Katherine's work a few other local artists: Brigit Collins, Ellen jones, Alice Mara, Sonja Read and Stuart Reid.
The show will be on from Saturday the 26th of September to 27th November.
On sale will be a selection of Walthamstow Dog Stadium related work from jewellery, photographs, prints to a beautiful book which is filled with Katherine's inimitable style of photography of the stadium, its people and its last few days!

The end of the Trail...

Thanks to everyone that made it over to the shop during the E17 Art Trail. We had over 1600 visitors in Beautiful Interiors and we'd like to thank you all for making it so special. This years trail was the best yet and we're stoked so many of you enjoyed the ever ending selection of events on offer.
